Gurukul Skills is a career-skilling organization focused on preparing job-seekers from diverse communities—including first-generation professionals, underserved youth, and those lacking prior exposure—for today’s evolving workforce. Since 2021, we have delivered inclusive, industry-aligned training programs backed by mentorship, practical learning, and placement support. Our aim is to unlock employability at scale and build a workforce that’s confident, capable, and career-ready.

2021

Inception & Foundation

Inauguration and Building Team - our journey started and with one pilot batch

2022

Pilot Launch

Launched a pilot with 2 batches in Hubballi, achieving 100% placement.

2023

Training Expansion

Expanded to a 5,000 sq. ft. center, trained 200+ candidates with a 98% placement rate, and empowered local trainers.

2024

Nationwide Reach

Trained 250+ rural youth across 20 districts with 95–98% placements; recognized nationally by P&G Media Communication.

2025

Scaling Up

Grew core team to 25+ and open to collaborations for deeper rural outreach.

A passionate leader transforming lives through skills

Gurunagouda Kuragund grew up in rural Karnataka as a first-generation graduate. Despite holding a master’s degree, he faced job challenges due to lack of practical skills. After years of self-upskilling and training others, he founded Gurukul Skills in 2022 to bridge the gap between education and employment. His vision is to create a movement that empowers rural youth to build successful careers and transform communities.
